Meeting at the obelisque statue (La Pirámide de Mayo) in Plaza de Mayo at 3:30pm, you begin your tour with several historically and politically important buildings such as the Cathedral and the “Casa Rosada”. Luciano, the guide and digital photography instructor, will teach the basic skills to take great photos while giving a brief tour. From there, take a walk through the streets of Buenos Aires to the Plaza del Congreso, rich both in design and historical content. Head back around 6:30pm after an afternoon of walking outdoors and learning what those functions on our camera are actually for!
On Thurs, May 7th at 7pm we’ll reconvene at areatres (Malabia 1720, 11B in Fuentes de Malabia behind Starbucks) for a 2 hour workshop with Photoshop and perfect our new photo skills. $ 90 for a unique learning tour. Bring your own digital camera, RSVP required: rsvp@expat-connection.com
