Vido Rejects Flights Suspension

Julio de Vido, minister of federal planning, rejected this morning the decision made by flight technicians of Aerolíneas Argentinas which caused a halt to international flights.

According do Vido, the measure is a ¨hidden strike, unjust for every Argentine¨ to justify the decision to cancel the flights.

On the other hand, flight technicians’ union leader, Ricardo Cirelli, accused the government authorities to pressure the airlines staff to make departures with aircrafts in bad conditions.

For the secretary of transport, Juan Pablo Schiavi, the union is ¨making people hostages¨ and ¨using a sacrate tool, like the union demands, to slander Aerolíneas.”
