The Indy Eye: Bolivian Festival in Buenos Aires

17th October 2016  Indy Staff

Downtown Buenos Aires was full of bright colours, traditional costumes, and lively music on Saturday as the city’s Bolivian community celebrated its annual festival for cultural integration.

Thousands of dancers from dozens of troupes representing different regions of Bolivia braved the rainy conditions to parade from the Obelisco to Plaza de Mayo – their stoicism was rewarded later as the clouds gave way to a bright and sunny afternoon. The festival continued into the night with live music and tradition Bolivian food.

Indy photographers Niran Ganir and Nithil Dennis share their images from the day.
