Object of the Week: Cuddly Easter Egg

What you see in action is the cuddly Easter Egg. A wonderful product that surprises grown-ups and kids alike.  When you take it out of the box you see a closed egg with a complex mechanism that one can’t help but activate. And there, the surprise: the egg spins and opens like a flower, and inside is a tiny furry duck that waits for our signal to see the world.

And that is all, but for the sensitive at heart it is a whole lot. They are new and come in a box. In general they are yellow chicks, but sometimes a multicolored bird appears. They cost $20.

Pick up the cuddly Easter Egg for just $20 in Cualquier Verdura. Open Thursday-Sunday, midday to 8pm. For more information, click here.

The Indy Eye: Easter celebration for Semana Santa

Tierra Santa – the Holy Land – the religiously-themed amusement park in Costanera norte in Buenos Aires holds a re-enactment of the 12 stations of the cross on Friday and Saturday before Easter. Afterwards, there is a candlelight mass and fireworks. It is an interesting pageant and believers are brought to tears. Photographer Beatrice Murch shares her photos of the spectacle.
